Thoughtfully designed creating a pleasing and private environment
We have a small woodland on site with seating areas for picnics and a bird feeding station for guests to spot the 20 plus different species of songbirds. Along with a constant cool breeze, the woods are a welcome retreat in the summer heat and a big hit with our guests.
Also popular with our guests are the North Wales RAF jets who pass overhead a few times a week. Performing high-speed low-level training, practising tactical manoeuvrings. Dramatic displays last for 10 minutes and are so impressive they must not be missed.

For the nature lovers, wildlife is in abundance here. You will likely meet rabbits in the early morning and maybe the odd hare. Early riser’s may also catch the Heron doing his daily visit. And in the afternoons a female sparrowhawk comes looking for lunch. Every day we see many buzzards and kestrels and on occasions red kites. And on clear nights you may observe owls flying overhead or taking a rest on low fencing posts.
